Description and Responsibilities:
Sr. Data Warehouse Engineer will play a significant role in supporting a large scale Oracle Data Warehouse application, including the integration, technical development, and the maintenance of extraction transformation and load (ETL).
In this role, you will:

Actively participate in the overall data warehouse/business intelligence strategy

Support and define new optimal logical and physical data models for satisfying the growing number of data feeds

Build fault-tolerant, high-performance, and multi-parallel algorithms for data processing and delivering data to a wide range of reports

Support the ETL data validation process Define custom connectors to various operational systems for data extraction interface with various business applications
Requirements:
-
A strong understanding of algorithms and data structures
-
Hands-on experience with performance optimization techniques
-
5+ years of development and administrative experience with Oracle 10g and 11g
-
Proven experience working with customers, documenting business requirements and processes

Data modeling, PL/SQL and ETL experience
-
Experience with utility-size data warehousing, metering, and energy applications is a big plus
